MoatBreak does one thing. We move business logic out of proprietary analytics platforms like Domo and Alteryx and onto open infrastructure the customer owns outright. Not a general consultancy that also does migrations, a specialist practice that does this and holds itself to proof on every engagement.

The premise is simple. Platforms like these let a team build years of transformation logic in a format only the vendor can run. That logic is the customer’s intellectual property, but the vendor controls the format it lives in, and therefore the pricing, the roadmap, and the exit. The switching cost is the moat.

Our counter-bet is that the logic, while trapped, is structured and machine-readable. A dataflow is a graph of typed transform steps. That makes the exit a transpilation problem with a verification step, not a rewrite from scratch, which is what lets us put a fixed price on it and prove equivalence before anything is cut over. It is grounded in close to two decades of building and migrating enterprise data platforms on exactly the open stack we migrate people onto: SQL, dbt, and Airflow, on the warehouses teams already run.
